Falks Metall is no exception. With a focus on sustainable growth, we are preparing for the future on multiple levels.

Enviromental sustainability

At Falks Metall, we work with sustainability at every stage, from material selection to production methods. By applying the near-net-shape principle, we reduce our raw material consumption and optimize our processes for a lower carbon footprint.

Lead-free manufacturing

With a conscious decision to eliminate lead, we have transitioned to a completely lead-free production. We have extensive experience in machining lead-free brass, such as Ecobrass®, enabling us to create sustainable components that meet the demands of the future. We have even turned down multi-million orders involving lead-containing materials and actively helped our customers find alternative materials for cleaner and safer production.

Phased-out cutting oil

Today, our lathes and milling machines operate with an emulsion that is 93% water-based, significantly reducing our chemical usage and creating a cleaner work environment – fully compliant with the REACH regulation.

Social sustainability

The Gnosjö spirit is characterized by collaboration and a commitment to ensuring its residents have a secure livelihood. Falks Metall is no exception. Our social sustainability efforts are evident in our collaborations with local organizations such as Lions, Klubben by Göhlins, and Gnosjö Innebandyklubb.

We gladly welcome study visits from schools and collaboration partners. For example, we participate in "Industrinatten," aimed at 8th-grade students, and are involved in Teknikcollege, which promotes youth education and interest in technology.
