We are getting closer to the end of year 2022. A year characterized by uncertainty because of war, ongoing pandemic, increasing raw material prices and lack of electricity.
At the same time, we are happy for all new customer projects that we have spent lots of time on manufacturing, evaluating, manufacturing again, evaluating again and finally being able to deliver an approved product. We have learned a lot about splines, gears, heat treatment processes for different raw materials, high-precision measurement and cleanliness. We have used our 3-D printer for various purposes. Simply more than machining.
During the past year, we have had no less than seven customer audits. These audits have led to a lot of process improvements. Thanks to these opportunities for improvements, we had no deviations in this year’s external audits of the quality management systems IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
The environment. We have continued our persistent work to make small steps of improvements every day. The change from heating with natural gas to district heating has reduced our carbon dioxide emissions. A diesel car has been replaced with an electric equivalent. Some employees have been commuting to work frequently by bike instead of car.
Our cooperation with a number of universities and research institutes has been ongoing during the year. Much focus on sustainability from an economic, social and environmental perspective. The LOOP project (Management and Organizational Model for innovative, efficient and socially sustainable Production teams), the ToolTrace project and RaSP (Resilient and Sustainable Production CO2 Competitive Manufacturing) make us better and contribute to research within sustainability.
In terms of turnover, we could have wished for more, but several projects are delayed due to the ongoing world situation. This means we will be pretty busy next year, but still we have a lot of free capacity.
We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2023! Take care of you.
