Near Net Shape is about starting processing with a blank that is as close to the final form of the article as possible. It minimizes material waste and contributes to efficiency both in time and costs. We have worked for many years to create a facility that is as flexible as possible based on the size and complexity of different items. We process plaster, cast and forged blanks into finished components. Everything is based on a pallet system and on the Near Net Shape principle.
It starts with what we call "The Carrier". A pallet with RFID marking that carries blanks. The pallet can be sent to exactly the parts of the facility required for the specific component. We have 100% traceability throughout the production phase.
As long as the blank can stand on a pallet, we can do anything with it. The principle "near-net-shape" provides great gains in processing, weight, material waste and processing opportunities.
The blank is on the pallet that is RFID-labeled. Now it can be sent around the production facility completely automatically. Turning, grinding, hardening, washing, marking or whatever you need. Completely visible at all times via our vision system for control and monitoring.
