We have long experience of machining stainless steel.
Stainless steel is a group of iron-based alloys that contain a minimum of approximately 11% chromium,a composition that prevents the iron from rusting and also provides heat-resistant properties. Stainless steel is also used for industrial equipment when it is important that the equipment lasts and can be kept clean, for example in areas of food processing and water treatment.
Example of stainless steel is: 1.4301 (AISI304), 1.4307, 1.4436 (AISI316), 1.4305 (AISI303), 1.4404 (AISI316L) and 1.4547 (254 SMO®).
The ease of welding, largely depends on the type of stainless steel used. We have business partners that know how to weld tough stainless steel such as 254 SMO®.
